Piper

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful little girl a couple of weeks ago. She was all smiles which made my job very easy! Her eyes are beyond gorgeous and I may be a little bias because she is my niece:) We explored a new location and I think it may be my new favorite. I also had the chance to use my flower garden as a backdrop. I couldn't resist grabbing a few images of her handsome big brother too. Matt and Marria, Thank you for bringing the kiddos to see me it was so nice to catch up.

Ava

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful little girl last weekend.  She wasn't so sure about me at first but warmed up and gave me a few smiles.  She just has the sweetest face ever!

Carter

Carter's Mommy and I have known each other forever!  She was my best friend in high school and we have remained friends through the years.  Living in different cities we don't get to visit as much as I would like.  I was so excited to meet her adorable little man!  Carter was my very first newborn and I have to admit I was a little nervous as to how the session would go.  He did amazing and slept the entire time.  I couldn't be happier with how they turned out:)  Here are a few image from his session.

Growing up too fast!

We celebrated my little girls birthday this past weekend.  She turned 3 and I can't believe how fast the last 3 years have gone!  I know that every mom has said this  but I really wish that I could slow time down.   It feels like just yesterday I was holding her for the first time.  She is growing into the most amazing little girl and I can say that I am one proud mama:)  She is smart, loving, and the best big sister ever!  Her special day wasn't filled with expensive gifts or an elaborate party.  She woke up to her favorite breakfast(pancakes, fruit and eggs).  We opened a few small gifts and we were off to the beach.  We spent a beautiful day filled with sunshine, bubbles, kite flying and playing in the ocean.  Grandma, Grandpa and her favorite cousin came to spend the day with us.  She chose pizza for dinner and then she blew out the candles on her special request rainbow birthday cake.  I was up until 1 am making it.  Poor planning on my part, I only had one pan!  It was worth ever hour spent when I saw the look on her face.  It really was a perfect day!  As I tucked her in that night she said "Mommy, this was the best birthday ever."  My mommy heart melted into a puddle.

Here are a few, well a bunch of images from our day.
